Great Sonia Kashuk Brushes at Target!
I’m always on the lookout for great brushes to add to my makeup kit. In a perfect world, I’d have plenty of time between models/talent to clean my brushes, but let’s face it, it’s hardly a perfect world. So, to stay sanitary, it’s always a good idea to have plenty of brushes. I have a couple primary sets that I absolutely adore (OCC and Cozzette), but lately I’ve been filling in the gaps with some brushes found at good ol’ Target.
Target has definitely been stepping up it’s game in the cosmetics section with hits like Jemma Kidd, Napoleon Perdis, and Pixi. Like many, I’ve become quite fond of the Sonia Kashuk’s brush line. I’ve since picked up a few of her brushes that I think are worth your time to check out!
Synthetic Multipurpose Brush ($5.99
This synthetic nylon brush is great for applying concealer to dark circles, blemishes, and discolorations anywhere on the face. It’s especially great around the creases of the face. I love to use this brush with creme eyeshadows. It’s great for blending and defining the crease.
Synthetic Pointed Foundation Brush ($12.99)
This is an excellent synthetic nylon, bullet shaped foundation brush at a phenomenal price. The tip of the brush mimics the shape of the finger tips so you can really use one brush to sweep around all the creases of the face and nose. The bullet shape fits the orbital cavity of the eye perfectly and doesn’t leave streaks like the flat paddle foundation brush. This brush is definitely a winner!
Synthetic Crease Shadow Brush ($9.99)
This brush is very similar to the Synthetic Multipurpose Brush above, and both are made of synthetic nylon. However, this brush is fuller and the bristles are cut to pick up and hold powder better than the SMB. This brush is also great for applying concealer, creme eyeshadows, and powder shadows to the crease. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites!
