So as it turns out, this is both a product review and an empties post. I’ve only had this body wash for about a month and I’m already done with it, which is pretty unusual because it usually takes me a couple months to go through this much shower product (8oz). It is so unusual that I was starting to wonder if the bottle was leaking or perhaps I had underestimated how long I’d been testing the product—both very unlikely scenerios. Then it occurred to me that I share my shower with another.

Turns out, my husband had been pilfering my body wash. I mention this only because he NEVER does this, and he can’t stand coconut! My husband uses his own castile body wash for everything (even to wash his hair) and he rarely deviates. Apparently, he had run out of his precious peppermint liquid soap and used mine in a pinch. However, instead of running out to get more of his own as he usually does, he used mine for a couple weeks, and alas the mystery was solved. Although, the fact that he used it for so long, despite his aversion to all things coconut, speaks volumes about how good this body wash really is.

Who’s it For? This is a very gentle body wash that is suitable for all skin types, even those with sensitive skin.

Performance: The Coconut Pumpkin Wash has a creamy texture that is on the thin side, and it gives a nice rich lather that leaves skin clean and moisturized. The coconut scent is yummy, but not overpowering and after a bit I can’t smell it on my skin at all.

I sincerely cannot get enough of the Acure Body Washes, and I’ve already ordered another one. One of the things I love most about these is that I never get breakouts on my back when I use them. Somewhere around age 30, my face and upper back became very oily and prone to breakouts, but since I switched over to Acure products, my back has completely cleared up.

Would I repurchase? Yes, I definitely would.
